And what activity would be complete without a power tool? This actually worked really well, and made the task go a lot faster.
Our carving was cut short when we got a phone call telling us that Andy's uncle Bill had gone missing while out on a 4-wheeler ride and they needed help looking for him. So Andy set out along with all of his cousins and family members and about 15 search and rescue people to look. Steve and Taylor Francom ended up finding him at about 10:30 down in Recapture Canyon. He was OK. Thank Heavens for answered prayers!!!
We continued on with our Halloween festivities Saturday night by getting all dressed up and trick-or-treating.

I even talked Andy into dressing up. So He was a cow, Dodger a Tiger, Bronx a Lion, and I was the Zoo Keeper.
Dodger was so excited about all of his candy. As we would walk up to people's houses he would run and say "candy, candy, candy, candy!" It was so funny. Then he would try to go in and get more candy out of their bowl.
Dad had to check out the loot (to make sure it was safe of course).

Darling costumes! Power tools while carving the pumpkin....fantastic idea!
Alicia, James would like to know why you got the cool costume:). You all look so cute. I love Andy scoping out the candy at the end. It is so nice having the kids candy to snitch this time of year;). your family looks so happy.
How fun! I love the costumes - your boys look adorable! I need to see Bronx!!! :(
