We got there and built a little fire to keep warm until the sun came out, we went on the 4-wheelers, and we just hung out and visited.
Dodger wanted me to go with them on the ride, but after a minute he calmed down and had fun.
Bronx took a little nap in Andy's arms.
Sage, Billie, Michelle, Bronx, Dad, Dodger, Zoee, David.
We of course had to bring along the shovel.
There's my chubby little boy. I love those cheeks!
Michelle and I did an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Here everyone is ready and waiting to go and find their eggs. Each kid gets 10 eggs.
At first Dodger needed a little help in knowing what to do. But he got the hang of it really fast.
Later that night after naps and some yard work, we went in to color some eggs. This was a first for us during our marriage. We only did a dozen because Dodger wasn't into it at all.
Then the kids went to bed and the Easter Bunny came and did his thing.
In my family it's tradition for the Easter Bunny to hide candy around the house. I thought this would be fun for Dodger this year. His room is upstairs and we put candy coming down the stairs, so when he woke up he would see it. He was a little sad when he woke up and was crying, and we told him to come down stairs, so when he saw the candy he was like "candy!" and started laughing and crying. It was so funny! Then the whole way down the stairs he was picking up candy and eating it.
They are getting better at sitting together.
When he found out that the big plastic ones had candy in them he was so excited! He would jump up and down saying candy!
Bronx was happy to just roll around and play with the eggs, until his dad decided to give him some candy too.
Luckily I noticed in time to stop him before he ate it.
Finding the candy!
On Sunday we went over to Andy's parents house for a yummy ham dinner with all the family that lives here plus Dave's family too. We had a really fun weekend, but needless to say with all the candy, we had a pretty hard time at church. Thank heavens for little cousins and grandparents to entertain our children :)

Cute. Glad you guys hung out with your family. You are looking pretty skinny. Hope you're eating.
Looks like the perfect Easter! Isn't it so fun the older the kids get?!
