We had such an awesome conference weekend. Not only did we get to listen to conference for most of the time on Saturday, and the whole time on Sunday, but we also were able to go to our nephew Trace's baptism on Saturday evening before the guys headed to the priesthood session. He's such a good boy and we are so proud of him! We also were able to watch Alex for the weekend while her parents went up to watch the BYU game.
It's tradition in the Black family to all get together after the priesthood session for homemade bread and to visit at Andy's parents house. I guess this has been a tradition for a very long time, starting with Andy's grandparents and all of his cousins. They would go to his grandma and grandpa's house for scones. I think it's such a fun thing to do, we always love to get together with cousins!
We started our own tradition this year and decided that after the afternoon session we would go on a drive up the mountain and take a picnic. We had so much fun going and looking at all the pretty leaves and enjoying the yummy mountain air. Apprently a lot of other people had the same idea as us because the mountain was so crowded! It was actually kind of funny to see all of the traffic on the dirt roads.

Your first paragraph in this post couldn't be more Mormon if you tried, right down to the BYU game. What fun ideas for traditions.
