Monday was Andy’s 24th birthday. We didn’t do anything fancy or exciting. We just hung out together. Andy requested Chinese food for dinner and Black Cow for dessert. Since he’s the birthday boy he gets whatever he wants so I made him Orange Chicken, Chicken lo-Mein, and Wontons. We invited my dad over to eat with us; it turned out to be a very fun night. After dinner we went out to the shop to work on our newest project, our camp trailer.
Andy is the most special person in the world to me. Just looking at him makes me smile and get butterflies in my stomach. I am the luckiest girl to be married to such a great guy. He is the hardest working person I know. He is never just relaxing, because he says there is always something that needs to be done. It doesn’t matter what the project is, because he can do it all. He can fix cars, he can build houses, he can build anything, he can shoe horses, he can farm, he can quilt, and crochet. Plus he is always helping others. If you mention something that needs to be fixed or needs to be done, he’ll do it without asking another question. Like last summer he remodeled my dad’s bathroom, put in his sprinkler system, and poured him a new back patio. Not to mention Andy has such a good heart. He is always making sure I’m happy, and doing little things out of the blue to surprise me. When he proposed to me he had handmade the ring box out of a log in his back yard. It is the most beautiful thing ever. After we were engaged and had gotten our wedding announcements made, Andy took me out to the cemetery to show me a suprise. He had framed one of our announcements and placed it by my mom's headstone, so she would for sure know she was invited. It’s things like this that most people wouldn’t think of, that Andy does think of that makes him so special to me. Happy Birthday! I Love You!
