Here is a picture up close of his cake.
Then on Friday was the beginning of the Frost & Lucile Black Family Reunion. The festivities were help up at Arvid & Ilene's cabin and were so much fun!! Andy's parents were in charge of it this year and they did a great job. We missed lunch, but we were able to make it up there for crafts and to help out with dinner. Dodger, of course, loved being outside and getting dirty.
There was a program dedicated to Andy's grandparents. Each family performed about 3 different numbers, which turned out to be very entertaining.
Dodger had so much fun that he plum wore himself out. This is after the car ride home from the mountain and being taken out of the truck, right before his bath so we could clean those dirty cheeks.
The next day the reunion continued with a yummy breakfast at the B&B . I didn't take my camera, but it was decorated so cute and the food and company was awesome. That was the end of the reunion, then it was on to watch the parade.
We went and found my family to sit by at the parade in our usual spot in front of the church. My dad had went extra early and put out chairs and blankets to save our spot. There were so many people there that we probably wouldn't have gotten a spot if he hadn't done this.

We had to go and get out of the sun for a few minutes and relax on grandpa's blanket.
Dodger picked up on the candy part of the parade pretty fast. It was so funny, I was trying to get him some and I turned around and he had spotted a piece on the ground and ran over and picked it up so fast.

We of course had to break to eat some of the candy.
All of the grandkids that were there this year. Alex, Kennedi, Sage, Dodger, Brighton, Zoee & Carter. We missed you Amber & Dave!
Dodger and Dad playing while we waited for the fireworks to start.
We love to go to the park early and listen to the band and hang out.
These 2 little boys were fascinated by the fireworks. Dodger sat like this the whole time. Andy tried to hold him on his lap but he just wanted to sit on mine and cuddle under the blanket. I think he liked having my belly as a pillow.

These two both have the cutest big blue eyes.
